  • Aros

Aros in Welsh means both, 'stay' and 'wait'. This video was made in memory of a dear friend who wandered into a dark place and never made it back....much like the astronaut bear in our video who gets stranded on a planet far from Earth and never makes it home alive.
  • Sweep

Sweep is a song with no chorus. Sometimes words don't translate feelings well and we decided to let the music do the talking on this one. The lyrics are sprinkled with the fairy dust from memories of a life in Los Angeles. The infamous, Frolic Room, is mentioned...the local watering hole. Alex wrote this about the period near the end of his years in L. A., when he was considering leaving the area.
  • Denim & Paisley

Denim & Paisley - Our first single with Quickfix Recordings is a scrapbook of sights, sounds, smells, colours, and cultures from the perspective of a child in the Bronx, NYC.
  • Someday

Someday was written on spec for our friend Paul Hunt. Paul had written a script for a short film, Welvis, and was looking for tune to role with the credits. Welvis is about the ghost of a Welsh Elvis impersonator who haunts his son. (The largest Elvis festival in the world is held annually in Porthcawl, Wales.) On a separate personal level, I wrote it at a time of feeling much 'hiraeth' and longing for my home country and the folks I know.
